If I am to be my Self in the world, I must be for others as well as myself. There is no other.
I am willing to be receptive to the Infinite Love of All. I am willing to understand how I must rise above the struggles and pains of the world. I am willing to rise again and again with each call for help, each outstretched hand. I am willing to be the one to choose to change. I offer my pain, suffering, guilt and blame up for transformation, into the light of Love that I may see and give only the light of Love always.
Why do I weary myself, and how do I stop? What is the connection between this and worth?
Everyone is in their own pain, their own personal misery, in their own suffering… Until we aren’t. Even me; even you. Someone has to decide to stop, decide to notice. Someone has to step out, step outside their own pain and care-for others.
That person is you. You must be the one. As much and as many times as it takes. period. You must rise above…which sometimes means humbling yourself, giving in, giving someone else what they want. Giving them what they want is giving you what you want. Put pride aside and give in, give up. I know that may sound weak, but it’s not. On the path of Love, it is one of the most courageous things to do. It can be easy to do when you are strong in your mind and emotions, strong in your Self. But it’s hardest when you are weak, when you are feeling your own pain and suffering too much to reach out to another. Why don’t they reach out to you–don’t they see how much you give, so often, and how sad and defeated you are now? don’t they see? don’t they care? You must overcome this self-talk, and be the one–especially when you are in this place. Reach out. Give. Help another. There is no other. The other is you.
