I rely on my own Loving Presence to lead and guide me toward the meaning of healing. Seeking the meaning of healing frames all my activity and gives context to all my interactions. Though I may encounter disturbances throughout daily activity, I lay them at the feet of my own Loving Presence and continue to ask, “What is healing?” My own Loving Presence directs me as I listen in the stillness.
During the first three days of each round on this Journey, the Guiding Thoughts ask you, in different ways, to lay yourself aside, that you may find new answers. The first day the Guiding Thought does this by asking that you erase all previous notions about healing from your mind; the second day it does this by asking you to find and release/transform things within you that obscure your awareness of your True Self; today, the third day, it does this through encouraging you to approach all situations with an attitude of healing, with the understanding that—as you do—you can handle it, because your Loving Presence is already there with your answers.
You are your own Loving Presence. You have your answers now. But your mind is cluttered with the past, confused with disturbances and expectations, maybe even overwhelmed with all those things getting in the way and block your understanding of your Self, as your Loving Presence.
In these first three days of asking, “What is healing?” the goal is not to “find” an answer. I know. This is a little counter-intuitive. The goal is to get to the place within you that already has the answer. The question, “What is healing?” is the vehicle to get you to that place, while you open yourself to finding it (day 1 of each round), and while you release the road blocks along the way (day 2 of each round).
You are already Whole and Holy.
Healing is remembering to remember to accept your Wholeness.
Since you are already Whole and Holy, every question that you ask is already answered.
When the you-who-knows-asks the questions… there are no longer any questions; there is only the Knowing of your own Wholeness.
Beginning the fourth day of each round (tomorrow), after the effort of the first three days, you are sufficiently prepared to begin seeking in a genuine way—you are beginning to be aware of the Truth residing in you as your own Loving Presence. You can now begin to recognize situations as “road blocks” and you have the tools and the encouragement to move through them with an attitude of healing.
Be strong! Be confident! Lay aside your expectations and let your Loving Presence lead. Open yourself to the Infinite. Let yourself be Whole.
