Your own Loving Presence is your Self. Turn your attention inward and become aware of your own Loving Presence. With focused awareness, your own Loving Presence fills you, grows brighter, and grows warmer. Claim your Self with these words:
I AM My Own Loving Presence. My loving Presence is the Self of myself. I love my Self!
You want to give your Self everything it desires–and your Self wants the same for you in return. What do you desire, but total Peace, Freedom, Love, and Harmony? These are the infinite and eternal qualities of your Self! Be now aware of the inner activity of your own Loving Presence and invite it to express itself through you and externalize in your life as circumstances, people, forms, and events that fulfill all your desires.
This is the form for what came out in my own writing:
How do Peace, Freedom, Love, and Harmony feel internally? What is a symbol for this feeling? Feel each one and let it sink into your bones, into the marrow, into your heart, your sinews. Let the feeling of each permeate you. How do the feelings of each of the words differ? What are the nuances that distinguish “Peace” from “Freedom” from “Harmony” from “Love”? How do you symbolize these feelings? What kind of “short cut” can your mind create for itself, a short-hand version of that feeling? You can draw on that symbol, that short-hand to invoke the feeling. Let the association be personal.
How do these things or qualities become externalized? How do you live Peace? How do you show Peace? How do you interact with your life activities when you are At Peace?
How do you live Freedom? How do you show Freedom? How do you interact with your life activities when you are Fully Free?
How do you live Love? How do you show Love? How do you interact with your life activities when you are In Love?
How do you live Harmony? How do you show Harmony? How do you interact with your life activities when you are In Harmony?
And also… a fun note about my meditation:
At one point, going through the meditation, I was on a stage in the middle of a dark stadium, with spotlights on me. The stadium was filled with Gurus, sages, and saints (80,000!), all of whom were saying the words of the meditation to me. When we got to the part about Claiming my Self, they said it to me; I repeated it (they repeated it with me), and when we got to “I love my Self!” they all stood up and cheered, like on a hail-Mary, game winning, touchdown! =)
