Your Self wills only to extend itself. Extending, sharing, creating as Divine Love, through Divine Mind, is your sole purpose. Your Self knows its fullness in Divine Love and wills only to liberate you to fulfill your purpose and release your Joy.

Wow! There is so much going on today for me with this guiding thought. First, I was saying the guiding thought to youyou are the you. I don’t know you, but I imagined a connection. As I was speaking to you, it was like I was so excited to tell you this. It was as if I could feel your potential and a world of possibilities unfolded as I saw the guiding thought as really real for you. I saw you joyfully sharing and creating and so very happy doing things that are enriching to you and to others. It’s kind of like…I was giving you a pep talk, but it was a pep talk for something that I’d already experienced as completed and done. I was just telling you how real it was. And you needed this pep talk! You needed some convincing, so I was giving it to you.

At the same time, there was this wise being hanging out above me, giving me the same pep talk. He was much more subdued in his excitement and he was almost chastising me because I am so thick and dense that he has to tell me this stuff. It sinks in s-l-o-w-l-y.

As it sank in, and as I was telling you, I started to feel it. It was like, “YEAH, I get it!” All I want to do is have ideas and make them happen and share them in love and joy with other people–and it’s all true!

So when I feel the truth of that for myself, and I feel the joy and purposefulness of it, the guiding thought makes total sense.

Then, as I am feeling it, I switch to my left brain and I think about the guiding thought, the logic of it, the sequence, and I match the logic and sequence of the words with the feeling that I’m feeling and my left brain gets on board and agrees, “Yeah, that makes sense”.

So I’ve got lots of things confirming my desire/will to express Divine Love purposefully. But there was this little tiny corner of my brain that questioned.

It said, “This is all well and fine, but when is it going to be out of your head and in your experience of life?” Because, it’s true…I am working diligently to align my life experience with fulfillment—that’s kind of one of the purposes of the journey, right?

>Sigh< I don’t know that answer. I don’t know when or how…

But I am getting more confident in trusting the when and how. I know with greater confidence that I am building something in the world that does fulfill my purpose. Each day, I do several things:

1)      I do this consciousness journey. This increases my awareness and understanding about what I truly want, how I really want to approach life experiences, and to know what Life offers me.

2)      I do something practical toward this end. I work on my books or workshops, I edit other books, I work on my website, I brainstorm, I create something new. Every time I do something practical it reinforces #1

3)      I do spiritual practices. I pray; I meditate; I take baths; sit with fire; breathe, etc. I do these things because I don’t know everything. In fact, I know very little. The practices are ways of submitting to That which Knows, for guidance on a deeper level.

  1. “Trusting the when and how” is enough! After all, it’s not like we have (or would want) timetables setting forth every step of the way in great detail. Life wouldn’t be nearly as much fun without the adventure!

I enjoyed the pep talk to an imagined “you.” Thanks for sharing your good cheer and excitement! This year I’ve been on a virtual quest to bring more kindness and joy to both myself and the world by discovering a positive blog every day of 2014 and keeping a list of my finds on my own site. I’ve added your blog as today’s entry. 🙂
