Journey of the Heart – Day 25

We are on round 3! For this round, the pronouns for the Guiding Thoughts change again; we will use the pronoun “we” or “us”, instead of “I” or “you”. When you listen to the Guiding Thoughts (or read them), unite yourself with me, and I will unite myself with you. We are the “we”!

Before you begin each day, take a moment and think about this from Day 08’s Guiding Thought: Love-as-light streams from my heart to your heart! We are connected by Love; we are One in Love. You may even choose to listen to this quickly—it is a thought that will turn your mind to the right attitude for the day’s endeavor.

Spend about 15-20 minutes with the guiding thought, and then let your heart speak through words, pictures, colors, shapes, whatever feels right. I’ve supplied a link below to an audio of me doing the guiding thought–use it if you like to create, while listening to it play on a loop (that’s what I do). Scroll to the bottom for my sharing…

Day 25 Guiding Thought

We bring our awareness to our hearts and resonate with their love.

Naturally and easily our heart-love radiates through us.

Love is present now—rippling in to the future, releasing the past.

You can download this and play it in a loop while you allow your heart to speak to you :).   I suggest Windows Media Player (I have not tested other players).

As I have each day on this round of the Journey, I did a preliminary preparation, about connecting to your heart with light, acknowledging our Oneness, and dedicating any good to your benefit and enlightenment. Each day that I have done this, I have seen—and been very amazed—at how my development has grown in really feeling this—feeling connected to others; some I know directly in my life, some are faces from a blog site, some are distant people who I may never actually meet or be aware of physically.

The “we as One” has been teaching me.

Each day, I work on increasing the number of people I connect with, with heart-light. Imagine connecting your heart light with billions of people all across the globe. Imagine that! Can you? I have not yet succeeded—but I keep working on it.

Sometimes I can connect very solidly with just one or two people; I see the light streaming from my heart to theirs very clearly and easily.

Sometimes I can connect with a lot of people, but the light-stream is more-vague; it’s more like a sensing than a seeing.

Today I was between these two. I connected with a lot of people, all around the world, and the light-stream was there, more than a vague sensing—but not bright and clear and intense.

In this drawing it’s not that each person is bringing his/her awareness to their own individual heart. Rather, we are bringing our awareness to our heart, the One heart, the heart of unity.

The figures represent people, ordinary people doing what they do, living their lives all over the world, each connected with the heart of unity. But because there is only one heart of unity, each person, each individual heart, is connected with every other through the heart of unity.

I had a couple of thoughts about this: First I thought, basically, that looks can be deceiving. Just because someone looks like they are not connected with their heart, doesn’t mean they are not. The figure engrossed in reading a paper, and the figure on the skateboard stand out to me with this. The figure reading the paper felt like someone having morning coffee, getting ready to go to work in a typical (stressful, high-demand) corporate-type job. The figure on the skateboard is a kid, just a kid—immature, figuring out life, with the emotional ups and downs of being a kid. Neither of these figures profiles someone who I would naturally think of as being connected through their hearts…but they are.

The second thing I thought was: The truth is, everyone is connected to the heart of unity whether they know it or not. Every person who does not know this is very probably perceived by others to act in a way that is disconnected.

So what’s the point of these two thoughts? For both, the point is the same: how aware am I of my connection with the heart of unity? The more aware I am, the more I see it in everyone. And…the more aware I am, the more I see it in everyone… the more I show them (with my heart) their own connection and acknowledge their heart of unity through my own.
