Welcome to Round 3! See an explanation for how the Guiding Thoughts change for this round here.
All hearts know how to love.
Everything is energy.
The most potent energy is love.
As we learn love, we invite the most powerful energy to express through us, to live as us, to be us!
The heart is Love’s abode.
The heart teaches only love.
We are willing and joyful students!

“Everything is energy…the most potent energy is Love.” I do think the picture today conveys this, at least somewhat. There was so much to convey in today’s Guiding Thought! I was not able to get it all in the picture.
Energy has been a big point of consideration for me lately. What is the energy of the thing? What is my energy? What is my energy saying? Is my energy consistent with what I am thinking? What is my heart’s energy? Is my heart-energy different than my mind-energy? If so, do I need to do anything to align them?
This is important because thoughts direct this energy, so it’s good to be attuned to or aware of the energy, what it feels like, and where it’s directed. I practice this, albeit without any formality or consistency. I just do my best to be aware, to observe my energy, and to try to see connections between my thoughts and my experiences. There is so much to learn with energy and those subtle, insubstantial forces.
“Subtlety” seems to be the word of the moment. This heart-energy, the opening of the heart, the expansion of the heart, there is so much subtlety to it. Thus, (I think) its expression, it’s actual impact in my life and experience could almost go unnoticed…if I weren’t paying attention.
There is a subtle upheaval within, a subtle whirlwind of inner change. I could just go about my life without paying any attention to it. If I did this I would simply say something like, “Oh, I’m just off today…” or “Maybe it’s hormones…” or “I didn’t get enough sleep…” or “Oh, it’s nothing…”—anything that acknowledges it, but dismisses it as a “nothing”.
I know better. I pay attention to everything (almost)!
Paying attention to these subtle movements is important precisely because they are movements. We are not static! We move! Things move! Energy moves! Move with it! Notice it! You are part of it! It’s not “nothing”!
And the first question becomes: Where am I going? Where is this energy taking me?
The first answer is: You will only know when you get there.
The second: What have you invited? What do you intend? That is what is leading you.
