Guiding Thought

Be fully conscious of your own Loving Presence which seeks expression through you. Your own Loving Presence Knows your heart and Knows your happiness. It Knows how to fulfill your heart and bring you joy by placing you in right situations, with right people, at right times where you may fully express your purpose. Submit your mind and heart, all your thoughts, words, actions to your own Loving Presence to be lifted to her/his vision and plan for your life.

What if I actually thought that all 7.125 billion people on the planet were being/becoming fully conscious of their own Loving Presence? There are people who believe that, you know. There are people right now, today, who believe that everyone on the planet has made some agreement with the higher-realms, with ascended heavenly beings, to ascend together, to become light-beings. I am not being critical here, or facetious; in fact, I think it’s pretty cool. I just don’t know if I can say (right now, today) that I believe it. Despite my spiritual nature, I take a pretty agnostic approach to a lot of things (that is: I recognize there are things we can’t prove for certain).

Even though it’s not really provable, and I don’t know how someone, anyone would experience that, or Know it, I like the idea of “raising all of humanity” well enough that I would be willing to play with the thought, to think about it, see how it feels, and decide whether or not I would want to continue thinking about it.

In philosophy there are things called thought experiments. A thought experiment is using the imagination to investigate questions, like “what if” questions (what if everyone on the planet had made an agreement to ascend together?). A good movie that illustrates a thought experiment is After the Dark (2013), in which a philosophy class is challenged with determining which 10 of the 20 students (given “new identities”) will be chosen to live in a bunker with limited food and water after the apocalypse. The movie goes through several scenarios, each bringing more information, different outcomes, different viewpoints. I mean, if we can have movies about thought experiments about after the apocalypse, why not have thought experiments about mass ascension (unrelated to the Christian rapture)?

Thinking about something does not necessarily mean believing it. It does not mean thinking the idea is true. I think a lot of people are afraid to simply think about things… because what if they end up believing them? What if it’s a bad idea? What if the idea brainwashes me!?

Maybe that’s it. Maybe I’ve been brainwashed. But I like thinking about things, especially things that seem to point toward more love or more light…more unity, higher consciousness or God or the Divine.

Granted, not everything draws me, not everything gets my attention. And, in many regards I, too, am protective of what I choose to think about. But for today, for this round, I am choosing to see how it feels to join those who think that everyone on the planet is going for higher consciousness.

I choose to think about everyone on the planet being fully conscious of their own Loving Presence, of that Loving Presence being conscious of all of us; of that Loving Presence wanting all of us to know joy and fulfillment, and directing us into situations that bring us that.

That’s really kind of a nice thought.
