Guiding Thought

To heal and be healed is to be aware; to understand, and to Know Wholeness. Thus I seek Wholeness, Unity, Oneness within my own mind and heart, and in all my actions and affairs. I focus on uniting the fragments within myself, so that I see only Oneness, which is the Truth of my Self. As I Know myself as the Oneness that I am, this Truth reflects in the world around me, confirming what I Know through my experience and life activity.

To heal and be healed is to be aware; to understand, and to Know Wholeness.
Why is this said as a statement of fact? Is it [a fact]? Does it require my belief? Is it True? What is Wholeness; what does it mean to “be Whole”?

One meaning of Wholeness is to be in an unbroken or undamaged state. Certainly this applies to healing. Does that mean people who seek healing are broken or damaged? Or, do they perceive themselves as broken or damaged? I supposed there are many types of “broken” or “damaged”—mental, spiritual, emotional; so, in this context, healing means repairing something that is broken.

Another meaning of Wholeness is “entire”, for example, “I can’t believe I ate the WHOLE thing!” How does this fit with healing? I think that in order for this to fit, it must be used in conjunction with the first meaning of “unbroken” or “undamaged”. If humans perceive themselves as anything other than part of an entirety (the Whole of Life), they do not perceive the Whole; thus, they perceive in a broken or damaged way. Healing in this second context means, opening up to the understanding that Wholeness includes everyone, every living being, including you (or me).

A final meaning of Wholeness is “a thing that is complete in itself”. How does this fit with Healing? Again, it must be considered in the context of the preceding definition. A person is only Whole within the entirety of Life, and the entirety of Life is incomplete without that person. Life is complete in itself, each person included in that completeness.

Thus I seek Wholeness, Unity, Oneness within my own mind and heart, and in all my actions and affairs.

If healing is Wholeness, as established above, then the only healing action to take is to seek that Wholeness, everywhere. Heal everything to Wholeness.

I focus on uniting the fragments within myself, so that I see only Oneness, which is the Truth of my Self.

Remember that Life is Whole, including you. This Wholeness and Oneness is the Truth of you. Seeking the Wholeness everywhere means seeking yourself everywhere.

As I Know myself as the Oneness that I am, this Truth reflects in the world around me, confirming what I Know through my experience and life activity.

Seeking is finding, thus the previous seeking comes to Knowing the Truth of your Self. When the Truth is Known, it is unassailable, unquestionable—and the Truth expresses itself in all your activity, confirming Itself.
