A day of analysis. Words have meanings; how words are put together make up meanings. The order, sequence, and references, contribute to and constitute the meaning. Sometimes looking at one word, its placement, and how it interacts with all the other words clarifies meaning. Don’t worry, today, I’ve done it for you. Guiding Thought

Gratitude makes all things new! When you are aware of your Source in Love, you see its activity everywhere. It is the Substance of Life itself! You are in the flow and create and expand with Love, in Life!

Reflection

When you are aware of your Source in Love, you see its activity everywhere. The its is your Source’s activity, right? Grammatically speaking, Source is the referent for its.

Two things come to mind about that:

1) the phrasing is not saying that when you are aware Source suddenly springs into action. no. Rather, what it’s saying is that Source is always acting, but when you are aware, you see it. Which means, that when you are not aware, you are not noticing the activity of Source.

The next sentence makes sense, in this regard: It (Source) is the Substance of Life itself! Everything is Source, expressing itself. Life is Source; the substance of Life is Source. You are always in it; it is always “acting” (or “being”–it’s probably more accurate in this regard to say “Life always just is”). It’s up to you to recognize that Life is and you are in it, and it is in you.

2) Your Source in Love: Source is always “in” Love. Love is what the rest of the phrases refer to. Love is the substance, the activity, and the flow. Love is the All of Life. It is what is in us, surrounds us; it is what is us.

And this is why gratitude makes all things new. The kind of gratitude which makes all things new is the gratitude for Life in Love. Gratitude for All that is, which is Life in Love, including me, including you, including every being on this planet. Gratitude for Life in Love is what opens our eyes to the activity of Love everywhere, in me, in you, in every being on this planet.

When this happens…when we open our hearts to this kind of gratitude, we become the flow, and we expand into Love, into Life…which is infinite, on and on.
