Guiding Thought

The purpose of Life for all beings is to experience happiness, peace, contentment, and safety, Knowing the Oneness and Immortality of the Divine Self. Such Knowledge is beyond speech, beyond thought; it is found in the depths of the heart where communion (co-union) with All is reality. I bring the unifying force within my heart to all people and experiences and thus Know myself as the happiness, peace, contentment, and safety I Am.

Reflection

Something lifted today, did you feel it? Do you feel less muddled than you have the past few weeks (or even months)? There is clarity and hope in the air, an openness that has not been present recently. I felt it. I hope you did to; either way, know that everything is on course, as It should be.

I had the great satisfaction today of feeling an objection come up, then being able to dismiss it immediately because of something I read just this morning.

Objection: If attaining Knowing Oneness and Immortality of the Divine Self is “beyond speech, beyond thought”, what good does it do me to read this stuff? 

At first, I wanted to be obstinate, and say, “Yeah, why???”

But then almost immediately, I recalled these passages from Kriya Yoga: The Scientific Process of Soul Culture and the Essence of All Religions, by Paramahamsa Hariharananda, regarding human evolution:

We have to move [from the animalistic plane, which has the predominance of instinct] to the rationalistic place, from the rationalistic plane to the intuitional or superconscious plane, from the superconscious plane we can merge ourselves in cosmic consciousness and then in wisdom…

There are three sorts of instruments of knowledge. The first is instinct, which is most highly developed in animals. This is the lowest instrument of knowledge. In human beings, it is developed into reason. Yet, reason is still insufficient. To acquire perfection further evolution is essential.

It is through reason that we attain intuition, a higher form of knowledge.

Reason gives us the words. It gives us the thoughts and speech. We must bring that forward into intuition. We must feel the words, feel the thoughts, feel the energy of the superconsciousness within us.

When I saw this understanding in my mind’s eye, I was then able to envision the evolution of all humanity into the cosmic consciousness of intuitive knowledge.

Imagine everyone communing with their hearts and bringing heart-knowledge to every person, every situation, every interaction.

Can you then see how happiness, peace, contentment, and safety for all, with All is reality?
