You’ve no idea how hard I have looked for a gift to bring You. Nothing seemed right. What’s the point of bringing gold to the goldmine or water to the Ocean? Everything I came up with was like taking spices to the Orient. It’s no good giving my heart and soul because you already have these. So-I’ve brought you a mirror. Look at yourself and remember me.

Rumi has an ability like no other to communicate the consciousness as Perfect Love, aware of Itself and It’s Unity with All. We are born as Perfect Love, aware of everything as Love. At one point in my life-journey, I fell from that Grace. I then spent many years unaware, then many more working back into that awareness! It began at four years old when I was in the tub playing with my doll and decided to wash her hair, got carried away and used way too much shampoo. When discovered, my mom’s fear of lack got triggered. It’s amazing how every detail is like a photograph in my mind–the tone of her voice; the words she used carried an energy even though I didn’t comprehend them– about money, waste, and selfishness. I do remember the hot feeling of shame and a sick feeling in my stomach as I got spanked.

For years I remembered it, and it validated my scarcity issues, my fear of disappointing others, and this was the first item in my shame closet. The vicious cyclical behavior of victimhood. When my consciousness became aware of that game, I worked to transcend that state. Then began my lessons on the power of forgiveness. My mom was at the end of her day raising four children and I was the baby. She had the kids, the household, and the household budget to manage. That day my behavior was her final straw. I get it. I also see that it wasn’t a big violation in the Light but when an imprint of shame lays down its pattern, and the shadow is created, it isn’t logical.

After forgiveness of others, I began to work with self forgiveness. That led me quickly to inner child work. I had abandoned her that day and needed to regain trust and reclaim my Origin. Grateful that I had a great teacher who lovingly guided and encouraged me to find my Love. One day I was in meditation with the intention of connecting with the Love that I am. I connected to the four year old who was in the tub washing her dolls hair. I was transported back to the moments before the shame. I found myself in the aspect of the joy– I experienced-Pure Joy. It was an incredible experience because I could viscerally feel the Love that I Am in every fiber! All of my energy was aligned with Love and all I knew was the joy of that lathering sensation. Bubbles that were iridescent and even made squeaky sounds! I was the bliss of Love experiencing as a human. Perfect Love is Me now, was Me the moment after, I just forgot Myself for a minute, yet Perfect Love never forgets any of Us!

WE are the Love. WE, in unison with our own essence as that Love, create in unison with It and with all existence.
