Guiding Thought

How can you live apart from God? God is indivisible. God is your Source and the Life within you. Your Oneness with All through God was established at your birth, at the creation of your being. The realization of this Truth is the foundation of your freedom.

Reflection / Contemplation

It’s interesting. People are so different. Sometimes people judge others based on looks…or lifestyle preference…or education…or work…or who they choose to partner with…or what they eat…or how they speak…or what car they drive.

I’ve been judged by all of these things, and more. Even recently.

Sometimes (not always), it seems that the people who judge the harshest are the people who also have–or perhaps claim to have–a relationship with God, people of “faith”, people surrounded by other people of the same faith.

I’ve experienced this, too–being judged most harshly by one or more people who talk about their faith in God, about in leaving “it” in His hands, about the power of prayer.

When I’ve had the opportunity to have such conversations, I empathize with nearly everything such people say about God and their relationship with Him, when they are speaking about their trust and faith, their prayer, their life in Him.

And I’ve found that in those moments, when I am hearing their trust, their faith, their love for Him, I am right there with them. I feel an affinity, I understand–at least on some level–their passion, their commitment.

I feel my Oneness with All through God.

I wonder if they do.
