When I lift my vibration into Peace and Harmony, all are lifted with me. With this awareness comes great responsibility: I am a Peace steward of all humanity, of all Life. Eternal Peace is my natural state. I joyfully and easily share it with all, and fulfill my Divine Purpose in the world.

All life is connected. Our separateness is a delusion, a misperception by our limited ego self. It is said no man is an island. When others weep, I weep. When others hurt, I hurt. Thich Nhat Hahn calls this connectedness “interbe”. In some ways, it is very much like the world wide web. Yet, I often live my life as if I were a stand alone PC, not connected to a network, unable to share with anyone else.
When I raise my vibrations of Peace and Harmony, because we are All one, my vibrations can lift others too. My prayers for the wellbeing of others Do have impact. The practice of Metta, Loving Kindness involves sending blessings of healing and Peace to those in need. The interconnectedness of All beings allows this practice to work. I believe this healing work is very important, and allows us to help bring peace and harmony to all.
May I dwell in the heart, may I be free from suffering, may I be healed, may I be at Peace.
May you dwell in the heart, may you be free from suffering, may you be healed, may you be at Peace.
May all sentient beings dwell in the heart, may all beings be free from suffering, may all beings be at Peace.
Day 8 Peace – Mary
My husband and I are retired. We live a pretty peaceful, harmonious lifestyle. It hasn’t always been that way. We both had careers in the corporate world. As a reminder of how that can go, my sister arrived in town yesterday. She was here on business. Things at her work are not going well, things at home are not going well, she entered our home a bit like a whirlwind, scattering chaos in her wake. I sat at the table, working on a quiet project, listening to some very restful music. She went into another room, put on some pajamas, sipped a cup of coffee, let off a bit of steam by crying quietly for a few minutes, sighed deeply and said “quiet, that’s what I needed”. There is a responsibility to being a Peace steward. Sometimes, the most responsible thing we can do for others is simply to hold a quiet, peaceful space for them to be lifted into.

Reflection
Broadly speaking, stewarding is taking care of–it is the role of providing-for, looking after, supplying things (even spiritual things, like Peace) to people.
I have thought about this word mostly in relation to the planet–that humans are stewards of this beautiful earth and all its creatures, and that we have neglected our duty to those which depend upon us.
Taking care of someone or something is a mindset in addition to skills. The mindset, so it seems to me, is thoughtful, considerate, helpful, caring, encouraging, and affirmative. The tools are varied, according to what is being stewarded. People who steward wild animal sanctuaries use different tools than those who steward botanical gardens; people who take care of the sick or elderly use different tools than those who care for children.
In the case of being a Peace steward, the tool is simply one’s personal vibration, looking after oneself, lifting one’s own vibration.
Or in this case, simply BEing one’s Self, with the natural state of Eternal Peace, and Knowing oneself as that State of Peace.
Taking care of someone or something can be learned. The mindset of stewardship can be learned. The tools and skills can be acquired.
The first step is to realize that perhaps some people are not experiencing Peace and Harmony. Perhaps you are not experiencing Peace and Harmony? Recognize that if you are not experiencing it, you CAN. And you can share it with others, and you can become a beacon for others to see, an example of what it means to Be peace in the world, and to lift all the world by your example.

Journey of Peace – Day 8 – Lita
When I lift my vibration to Peace and Harmony, all are lifted with me. With this awareness…
My mind is full of ways to work with today’s guiding thoughts. I have a list: raised vibration and entrainment for healing; how our thoughts are vibrations; intention and frequency = manifestation; how our electromagnetic fields are influenced by our emotional and mental states; the Global Coherency Project; the areas of the brain stimulated by meditators regardless of religious tradition; how are bodies are 60-70% water and amplifies vibrations; the Big Mind folks saying our bodies are absorbing higher frequencies from the Universe; yada…yada…yada.
How much time do you have? Just kidding.
I am a great one for talking about vibration, especially with my close family and friends, even my clients. Sound vibration and has been an interest of mine from a very young age in the form of singing, which I still do now in the form of toning and chanting. In addition, I play and work with tuning forks and music in my work and meditation. All this, of course, is in service to raising my vibration in the hopes of bringing it into my larger world, beyond my studio and meditation cocoon.
My vibration certainly rises when I chant, and rises even more so with a group. And thankfully I am able to chant with a group whose intention is very much peace based.
I notice how my body tingles when I sit in silence between chants. What is even more profound, is chanting in silence in the midst of a chant – this is when the vibration is most palpable and dare I say, delicious, and joyful.
Here’s an interesting thought: if the Universe is sending us their increased frequencies, I guess we are sending it back.
