I am filled beyond full with gratitude today. It’s my birthday – or my birthday week, or month. I have been showered with love from many, many directions today. It’s easy, on days like this, to more closely Know the perfection of the Love we Are.
There’s a link between our emotions and our health and gratitude is one of the healthiest of human emotions. I was at physical therapy yesterday and there were two others present. One was a woman who “needs” knee surgery, but is terrified and unwilling to make the commitment, to take the risk. Another had the same surgical procedure four months ago that I had four weeks ago. She believes healing is hard, painful and takes time. Her healing is at the same place after four months, that mine is after four weeks. My hope is that I presented myself to these people in a way that provided food for thought about “what’s possible” if they test the waters from a different perspective. Yesterday’s Guiding Thought included “our energy overflows to manifest only the Good, the Holy and the Beautiful”, and I’m so very filled with gratitude that I can personally witness this manifestation in my life, and to share it with others to the best of my ability.

Reflection
Journey of Peace day 24
In the song Om Namo Bhagavate/Oneness, by Deva Premal and Miten, part of the lyrics are “Everywhere I go I feel the Oneness inside of Me”. I like to chant this to myself when I am walking alone, or at other times of reflection. I just now took a liberty with the words and chanted them as “Everywhere I go I feel the Oneness inside of US”. That feels right and okay. I think I’ll walk with that for a while, and see what comes up.
It is sunset, and I am reminded of the beautiful gifts we have all been given in this Life. Angels watch over us, and one showed up in the mail today! (Mary just received an angel pendant from a dear friend). “Give and you shall receive”. I believe the angel gift is a reflection of all the Love that Mary sends out in the world, and I am touched by this. We are All fulfilled when we share the Love of All that is.

I am appreciating the rhythm of this process, the repetition of the guiding thoughts with enough variation and prodding to take me deeper into the realm of conscious intention.
Right now I am still a work in progress on this “I” business of being filled beyond capacity, which if I truly take to heart, will spill over into my outer circle into “we-ness”.
10 days ago I wrote about my longing to be filled with silence. But what is underneath and beyond that silence? Sometimes we sign up for things without complete understanding. I signed up on the dotted line, and I continue to do so, for a deepening consciousness, and find myself surprised by where it takes me, which is very often deeper and beyond my imagination.
My intent of accessing and living bigger, deeper, more fulfilled comes with the responsibilities of letting go of that which no longer serves this process. As I prepare for this upcoming sound healing workshop (which is remarkably aligned with today’s guiding thoughts and this journey as a whole), I am coming face to face with when and where my default button of wanting to stay little, in victimhood, of not enough (fill in the blank) arises, and how long I stay there.
I can no longer dance around and be wishy washy for what I truly want. I get to name my own currency and live in that reality, and not one mediated by old tapes or current fear mongers.
I am coming to recognize that underneath this silence is a currency of Light and Love. And interestingly enough, there is no need for measure and meter, judgements of worthiness, limits to my imagination for what I want for myself and all around me.
