With today’s guiding thoughts, the word “invite” jumps out at me. The back door is opening.  The only way in is through – crossing the threshold. My back pack, a piece of armor guarding/protecting the back of my heart has been taken off.

I tried a new technique today. The video I modeled is below. This is less of a straightforward technique than the flowers, certainly more complex as far as mixing colors and brush technique (which are not explained…or…of they are, it’s in Japenese!)

I think I’ve decided to stick with flowers and work more with “mastering” that (very simple!) technique. That video is also below.

To start round two, I decided to switch away from freeform watercolor, and give a try at a more planned straight line drawing. Inviting love to your hearts abode. It struck me to draw an abode of welcoming love. The perspective is not all it could be, and I feel like I “should” have put some flowers or something along the base. But I reached the point where the drawing was complete, time to stop fiddling with it. So it is what it is.

The energy of Love abides, remains, continues, stays always. Love abides, stand by me.
