A quick apology to my co-journeyers (here and everywhere) for not publishing day 28 yesterday. The Journey was not interrupted, but my technology time was!
,Guiding Thought:
Love-as-light streams from our hearts to all hearts!
We are connected by Love; we are One in Love.
Imagine these streams of love-as-light connecting with everyone in time and space.
Imagine receiving these streams of love-as-light as they return to you from everyone in time and space.
This is enough. We are One.

I thought my heart work with today’s guiding thoughts for the day was done, a picture revealed and drawn. Nope. Another image revealed itself, stemming from a conversation with a friend. Instead of our morning walk, we sat in her car looking out at the beach. Her hands held a small glass heart and a card with a picture of a lotus blossom. She was holding them in meditation for a troubling family situation seemingly energetically bound by a deceased relative. Her original intention was for release today. But over the course of our conversation she decided that the card, the heart, and the soul of this relative need to be placed on her altar at home. From all accounts he was a troubled and controlling individual. In this moment of our conversation I knew that what will occur on the altar of my friend is the work of compassion which transcends time and space. He, too, is light, and no less deserving of love.

More brushstroke practice, this time with the Devangari/Sanskrit, “Om Namah Shivaya”.
What looks simple and straightforward becomes a practice in consistency, pressure/force, steadiness, direction, symmetry, balance, relationship (each character to the others).
Translate this to every day life. Each action has the potential to teach so many qualities, aspects, and approaches to life!
Yesterday a friend came over to do paper crafting. She reminded me that this was the first time this year that WE did this. We create greeting cards. I’ve been collecting sheets of beautiful (mostly hand crafted) papers and several of them have now been cut to card size. There will be hundreds of cards eventually. Most will go to people undergoing chemotherapy. Many others will be sent to seniors experiencing challenges of aging. WE do this form of art especially to be shared. These “streams of love-as-light “ show up in mailboxes all across the country. That love-as-light returns to us as beautiful papers to play with and to be creative with and to share. This is enough.
