Journey of the Heart, Day 31- 03.01.31

The fourth round returns to using “I”, the same as the first round. But I guarantee, you won’t experience “I” the same way as you did in the first round, after going through rounds 2 and 3!

Guiding Thought:

My Heart knows how to love.

Everything is energy.

The most potent energy is love.

As I learn love, I invite the most powerful energy to express through me, to live as me, to be me!

My heart is Love’s abode.

My heart teaches only love.

I am a willing and joyful student!

Open mine eyes
That I may see
Glimpses of truth
Thou hast for me
Open mine eyes
Illumine me
Spirit divine

I’ve learned to let the Journey Lead.

Rarely is the Journey actually about what I think it’s about. Rarely does the Journey not lead me on unexpected paths providing insight, uncoverings, discoverings, new thoughts, new depths, new aspects…

Setting the intention simply reveals my (little) mind’s limitations, it’s current level of awareness and understanding. My heart, my (Higher) Mind, know what I really want, what I really intend: my deepest reality, my deepest Truth, my deepest longing for my Self, which becomes visible when I allow the Journey to unfold in Truth.

My Heart knows how to PAINT 🙂

I have felt very much a student on this Journey of Love. How many ways can love be expressed?  Some days inspired, some days not. Can I learn from my heart even when I don’t feel it, on those days when “I’ve got nothing.”  The commitment to this journey has encouraged me to dig a little deeper to find a way to love/ gratitude when it is not already there. Oh yeah, it IS already there, I just need to open to it in my heart.

My heart is a willing and joyful teacher. I am a willing and sometimes joyful student. The process of creating art has been an opening experience for me. I am astounded at the different ways each of our journeyers have expressed themselves in response to the same guiding thoughts. What an adventure!

I am a willing and joyful student. Today, inspired by Susan Billmaier, I attempted a new technique. This image was done using acrylic paints and ball chains. Obviously mastering the technique will require practice, but it was a fun first try. One thing I’m learning throughout this Journey so far is that PRACTICE is intended to be a way of life. Mastery in any area isn’t likely to come from simply trying. It will come from doing it over, and over and over, and over and over and……
