Guiding Thought:
Following the guidance of my heart, I experience life anew!
As I express love, I experience love everywhere.
I find new ways to love.
I recognize new depths and nuances of love.
I am patient. I am kind. I am wise.
I respond to life with love, as love.

Here I am big and bold today, on the edge of the Universe and my willingness to leap with layers upon layers of ink and water, dabbing with a paper towel, adding salt, more color, more dabbing, etc. I am wondering if my heart is holding the Universe or the Heart of the Universe is holding me. I can just touch and feel the concept of a great and patient Universe taking its time forming galaxies, stars, planets…me. Big Love indeed!

Om is said to be the sound of creation, the sound of the universe, the original sound.
If so, then it is a sound of connection, of unity, of creativity, of Love, of Everything out of Oneness.
Be with Om, Be Om, Be All.
Today is gray, wet and rainy outside. Dripping wet kind of day, no sunshine, puddles of water on the gray concrete. The kind of day you might want to curl up and hide away, sleep, and dream of sunny places.
I challenge myself to be patient today, waiting for the daffodils to open up in bright yellows. Soon, but not yet. The tulips are not even up yet.
So, to experience life anew today, to be patient with the day, I must be kind to myself. We must create our own sunshine today. It is a perfect day to practice patience and kindness.
And so flowers bring hope, for sunshine and brighter days. I am content. The gray day is perfect as it is. It is a required gestation so that tulips can open their wings at the appropriate time. It is a perfect day.

I find myself struggling today as I consider responding to life with love. The US State of the Union address was presented last night. There were several heart-touching stories of love, courage, commitment and kindness. There were also acts of hostility, disrespect and divisiveness. These public struggles reflect the inner battles each of us experiences. How can I move my own inner awareness out of this struggling and into a response to life with love? It seems like a good day to focus on amplifying the loving side of the equation, and so I’m practicing kindness and patience as I prepare several messages of love to be mailed across the continent and beyond. Perhaps it’s enough to tip the balance.
