We are connected by Love; we are One in Love.

I imagine this stream of love-as-light connecting with everyone in time and space.

I imagine receiving this stream of love-as-light as it returns to me from everyone in time and space.

This is enough. We are One.

The irony of the shape of this bag filled with plastic is not lost on me, here, on this Journey of the Heart. It was this morning on my regular walk with my walking partner that we saw this bag sticking out of a garbage can. We rescued this plastic, so to speak, from its intended placement in a landfill. We carried this bag home, a ¾ mile walk so that it can go to a recycling facility instead. We were quite a sight to behold as we walked down the neighborhood streets.

The Love, the light stream in today’s guiding thoughts includes not just everyone through time and space, but EVERYTHING as well. We are all one.

The flower and I are one. All living things emanate “love as light”. It never stops. Light is everywhere, weaving, permeating, expanding, radiating. Where does your light end and mine begin? Where does the flower’s light end and mine begin? Where does an electron’s light end and mine begin?

In Infinite, Eternal Life, what can it mean to “begin” or “end”?

Based on statistics, we are a BIG One. And those numbers don’t even include all the other animals on our planet. Or the billions upon billions of stars in the galaxy, or the billions of galaxies in the universe. And who knows how many universes there are? If we are one in both time and space, we need to include all the people who have ever lived. And all the ants, and trees, and lions and tigers and bears who have ever lived.  The mind boggles.

I’ve always wondered how many trees are there on this earth. They each have a soul, and I like to think, they each have a unique name. Hello Tom, hey Charlie, how’s it standing?

We are All One. How incredible is that?

So today I was going to sketch a map of the World. Lucky(?) for me, the internet did that for me. No sketching “art” today for the Journey of Heart. But, on this map, I drew a line between where I live and some of the places I’ve had the amazing opportunity to visit and to meet some global sisters and brothers.   Places I’ve been include many (but not all) of the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, the Caribbean, Europe, Central America, the Soviet Union. When I say Europe, I really mean only parts of France.  When I say the Soviet Union I really mean only a handful of cities in the Russian Far East. When I say Australia, I only mean a few cities on the east coast of that continent. I know many people who have barely left their home town or state, so I consider myself awesomely blessed to have travelled as I have. Yet, when I look at the map, I’ve barely been anywhere, I’ve hardly met anyone. There are an estimated 7.7 Billion (with a B) people living in this World. I’ve met only a few hundred or thousands of them, but what I’ve experienced is that each one of us has a heart. In our own ways, each of these hearts knows love. This is enough. We are One.
