Today, begins the action of commitment. For the next 40 days, Steve and I will be reading/listening to the Guiding Thoughts and reflecting (words as well as creative expressions) on them. What is your commitment?

Guiding Thought

There is a Perfect Spiritual Idea of Perfect Fulfillment. My Inner Divine Presence Knows every form, experience, situation, event, circumstance, condition, relationship, and sequence that fulfills my desires. When I am diligent about maintaining my focus of desire on the loving benefit and fulfillment of all sentient beings, Divine Substance–which is the source of Spiritual Idea’s manifestation–flows through me and externalizes in my experience. Divine Presence appears as the perfect fulfillment of every single form, experience, situation, event, circumstance, condition, relationship, and sequence that I could possibly desire.

Reflections

Steve (Meet Steve here.)

Synchronicity. Go with the Flow. When I focus more on others, troubles have a way of vanishing, of working out. Mary and I had a slightly testy exchange this morning, it doesn’t matter what it was. She joked, and said she wanted to get into a fight, so we could make up. Rather than buying into making remarks that would only escalate the meaningless exchange, I simply said, let’s skip the fight, and go straight to making up.

I can attribute the pleasing outcome to looking inside, and touching or connecting with that Divine Substance. I felt compassion for us both, and realized that defending or justifying my remarks, at her expense (and mine, too), simply wasn’t worth the trouble. Letting go brought us back to Peace.

I am thankful for that moment of awareness. It saved us both from unnecessary hurt feelings. It’s surprising how easily our little egos can get offended. Thank goodness for connecting  with my Inner Divine Presence!

I just love today’s Guiding Thought. It coincides nicely with another “affirmation” I have been saying to myself: “I am the invincible, unconquerable Presence. I am the open door for It’s Infinite Intelligence to govern my outer world in wondrous perfection.”

Life is wondrous perfection, when we align with the Divine. There is a perfect Spiritual idea of Perfect Fulfillment. Divine Mind is only Perfection, and provides us only perfection. If life ain’t perfect, ’tis we who need to change.

Day one, commitment to write: check, done.
