Guiding Thought
The world awaits my expression! I am here to align with my purpose, participate with life, and share my Self. With each moment I spend cultivating my own Loving Presence to be attuned with my Inner Divine Mind’s expression, the more I encounter the Perfect Spiritual Idea in my life activities. I choose to be aware! I choose to understand! I choose to know! I choose Life.
The Guiding Thoughts audio for this Journey will be found here.
Reflections
Steve (Meet Steve here.)
I am an expression of Life. Like a flower, I need food, water, and sunshine. And like a flower, I will bloom and die. Life is so precious. I want to love, and dance and sing and paint while I live. I am an expression of my Inner Divine Mind. My purpose unfolds moment by moment, blossoming and surprising me at every turn. I choose to know this life as sacred. I choose to honor myself, and align with my Inner Divine Nature.
I believe in the perfection of Life as it is. I am blessed to partake of this wondrous existence, for however long I am graced to be. I am the jewel in the heart of the lotus, shining brightly for all to see.

Resolve. The title comes from me today. After much Reiki and Jharra I feel like most of yesterday’s slime is washed away. The Guiding thought put me in a place of choice. I felt resolved to embrace my Self, my Work (that’s capital W), my Purpose. Slime days come and go. I am not a monk, living alone in a cave. I am a person in 21st century Western society, dealing with all those energies (entrappments?), and with other people. I cannot change the world by removing myself from it. I must face the life I have…every day. And so, today I resolve to:
- Be.
- Express.
- Align with my purpose.
- Participate with life.
- Share my Self.
- Cultivate my own Loving Presence.
- Attune myself with my Inner Divine Mind’s expression. ,
- Encounter life activities.
- Choose to be aware.
- Choose to understand.
- Choose to know.
- Choose Life.
Where is your resolve today?
If you are curious here’s my writing from The very first Journey of Purpose, six years ago Day 10. For today’s theme, I recommend reading this. When I returned to it today, I thought, “so much the same, so much different”, but also…I felt my Self six years ago encouraging myself today. Perhaps you will feel that, too.
Day ten, commitment to write: later today… I have appointments this morning!
I read your reflections from six years ago. Thank you for the gift, that every bit matters. True then, true now.
I think every bit matters is a good working definition of Purpose. Everything we think say or do makes a difference. Even on our “off” days.
