We smile, We Breathe, We Live and We Paint!: Journey of Purpose – 03.02.28

Guiding Thought

We erase all we think we know of our Inner Divine Mind. We are changing. We are changed. All is new. With a blank slate of pure luminescence, we simply wait, feeling our inner glow. Transformation! We want this. We invite this. We welcome this!

We allow ourselves to change, to become more attuned to our Self, more aligned with our Self, and more congruent with our Highest Purpose. As we wait and watch, our Highest Purpose appears as our activities, as people and circumstances. We breathe; we smile, and we live.

Reflections

Steve (Meet Steve here.)

Bent Halo

Today I started a painting that’s been floating around in my thoughts for a while. I was inspired by a book called “Painting from the Source” by Aviva Gold. It is indeed about reconnecting with our Source, our Inner Divine Mind, and encouraging us to transform our attitude towards creative endeavors.  It is about allowing ourselves to change, to recognize that we are not born with our inner critic.

The process begins of course with a blank sheet of paper. Be with our emotions, and watching what comes up. For example, the inner critic that says painting is not a productive use of our time. That we can’t paint, that we’re no good at it. We can notice those thoughts, and say “no thanks” to the critic, and let them go. And breathe. Breathe, and let our Higher Purpose express itself through our painting.

The painting process, the letting go can be a metaphor of how we live our lives. We smile, we breathe, we live and paint!

Quotes from Jean Haines – “Paint Yourself Calm”

“There is far more to be gained from painting than the end result of color on paper.”

“The process of painting in a certain way with the sole intent of using color to calm ourselves can be a powerful discovery.”

“Art isn’t an exclusive club for those who are gifted or know what they are doing.”

“Life is like a white sheet of paper waiting to be painted.”

I started with flowers…

then I decided they were butterflies.

This is kind of in sync with what I’ve been feeling…yesterday, the flowers were dancing.

Tomorrow…lavender!

Public Service Message regarding CoVid 19:

How to triage your symptoms. Please use the flow chart below to determine whether or not you should go to the hospital.

Remember: One of the big concerns right now is the potential for overwhelming hospitals and emergency personnel. There is no treatment for mild cases. Severe cases require hospitalization, with respirators. You can determine for yourself what your symptoms are, and reduce the potential overwhelm in hospitals and at doctors’ offices. Please share; in working together, we can help the people with most severe cases get the necessary treatment.

Navratri Celebration (01)

A celebration of the Divine Mother in all Her forms.

Click here to download a free booklet to follow along with the Fire Ceremonies, and the prayers to the Divine Mother.

Each morning for Navratri (March 25-April 2), I will be doing a fire ceremony to honor the Divine Mother. If you would like to be specifically included in the ceremony and the blessing, please email your full name and location, adding a picture optional. contact@withpearls.com. I’ll be posting a video of each ceremony, so you may join in the energy at your convenience.

Nights of March 24 – April 1, 2020 (Days: March 25- April 2)

Navratri means “Nine Nights” This is a time when the Divine Mother makes Herself easily available and accessible to all of her children. When the children seek the Mother, she rewards and blesses them.

Days 1-3 focus on purification, cleaning out, letting go of what no longer works in your life. For the first three nights, the focus is on the aspect of the Goddess responsible for Destruction and Restoration (Kali). This is a time of purification, a time to let go of all that is not “on purpose” for your life. This relates to “cleaning out your closets”, to make way for new things.

Days 4-6 focus on preparing to receive blessings: putting your mind, your tools, your house in order. The second set of three nights are devoted to the aspect of the Divine Mother who cooperates with us to learn what we need to learn, acquire what we need to acquire, and prepare in every possible way to live a Truly Fulfilled Life (Lakshmi). This is the time of preservation and taking care of things, or “putting your house in order”.

Days 7-9 focus on gratitude and receiving the Divine Mother’s blessings. Now is the time to ask for the Divine Mother’s Blessing. The work of the first six days now grants you a boon from the Divine Mother. She rewards and blesses Her children who look to Her. The final three nights are devoted to the aspect of the Divine Mother who embodies Divine Wisdom, and all that is pure and sublime in Nature (Saraswati).  To realize Her, one must go beyond the pleasures of the senses and rejoice in the serenity of the spirit, to transcend the cravings of the flesh and to reside in the power of the mind of pure wisdom.

At Evenstar’s Chalice, each day, (following each of the nine nights), an alter will be available for your prayers and offerings, and there will be special events offered to celebrate the Mother.
