Journey of Abundance: Commitment and Dedication 03.05.0

The commitment today serves as an agreement between you and yourself about what you are willing and able to do to see this Journey through to the end. Choose a commitment that you think you can keep: One day a week? Every other day? One day each round? Whatever you choose, please, I ask you: do it. Make the agreement with yourself. Keep the agreement with yourself. When you keep agreements with yourself, it teaches you that you are reliable, competent, trustworthy…and carries through on many different levels. This is about momentum and moving yourself forward in your spiritual growth.

The dedication for the Journey gives the Journey a purpose beyond you. The Journey is bigger than you are, so to say. Dedicate your Journey to at least one other person, to a greater purpose (“I dedicate this to the purpose of increasing my courage to demonstrate to others how to have more courage”) or to a Cause or Belief (like Love, or Oneness, or Harmony), or dedicate the Journey to God, the Divine, or to a Humanist ideal that you think would serve all of humanity. Write your own, or adapt what I have written below for yourself, in your voice, so that they feel right for you.

My Commitment

I commit to spending a minimum of 5 minutes each day for the next 40 days either reading and contemplating, or listening to and contemplating, the Guiding Thoughts. I commit to spending a minimum of 5 minutes each day for the next 40 days to reflecting on the Guiding Thoughts either via words or artistic expression (I’ve been thinking about painting again… this time, I want to paint fire!).

I commit. I commit. I commit. (If you have been here before, you know that I’ve faltered on recent Journeys in my commitments. I’m committing anew. The past if over. Life is NOW. I commit anew.)

Dedication

I dedicate all activity, energy, vibration, and movement of my physical, etheric, mental, and emotional bodies during each day of this Journey, during each meditation, each reflection, at all levels of consciousness to the Divine, for the benefit of all, including myself.

I dedicate all of the effects of the activity, energy, vibration, and movement of my physical, etheric, mental, and emotional body during each day of this Journey, during each meditation, each reflection, at all levels of consciousness to the Divine, for the benefit of all, including myself.

With deepest gratitude I offer this to the Divine, for the opportunity to serve.

Over the next 40 days, your mission is to read the provided Guiding Thoughts, reflecting on the words, the feeling, the meaning, for a minimum of 5 minutes, and then to write a response, or reflection, for a minimum of 5 minutes (or whatever you committed to).

Here is the first Guiding Thought, to get you started:

01 Divine Love-Light is the Source of All. It is all good, all God. This Source is always seeking expression through me. My awareness of my personal identity as this Source provides me with infinite fulfillment and prosperity.

 

 

Journey of Abundance: Introduction

What is Abundance? It’s more than the Law of Attraction. It’s more than magnetism. It’s definitely more than getting money. Yet, these things are part of it.

It is about aligning the mind/heart/body with Infinite and Eternal Oneness. It is about recognizing that it is your mind/heart/body that aligns with and expresses Infinite and Eternal Oneness. It is about expanding your conscious into Infinite Life, and knowing yourself as that very Life.

This is a spiritual journey in the sense that the primary aim is to increase awareness and understanding of Divine Love and to express that Love as a personal Divine Individuality. Divine Love, Infinite Love, Infinite Oneness, is the Source, Substance, and Supply of ALL. And thus, It is what underpins all abundance.

Awareness of Divine Love occurs in the mind and heart, internally—in each person’s individual consciousness.  And, Divine Love expresses through people, externally, in the material world. These journeys are one method of working with the Divine Self to achieve Its perfect expression in the world, uniting spiritual and material.

Journey of Abundance is an exploration of one’s personal connection with Divine Source (Love), and its expression as form—as money, goods, work, business, service, etc. The Divine Self works in and through the individual to create an abundant, fulfilling life. The individual’s conscious, deliberate invitation of that Self, through daily contemplation, encourages It to do so!

Abundance is as much about spiritual wealth—the pouring forth of the Inner Divine—as it is about material wealth. In fact, one principle of this Journey is that spiritual wealth underpins material wealth. When the Divine is understood as the Source, the Supply, and the Substance of all material things, then all material things become understood as expressions of the Divine. This is one way of understanding the phrase, seek first the Kingdom of Heaven. When the Divine is sought first, all material wealth is added —and “all” includes Joy, Fulfillment, and Peace as much as it includes material wealth and prosperity.

The spiritual qualities of Love, Peace, and Joy are expressed through material reality. In our work, in our relationships, the spiritual and material are always interacting.  If there is lack of love or joy or money or prosperity, that lack exists first in consciousness. These lacks are the way your Inner Divine Self (your soul, your spirit, however you think about it) calls you to evolve.

One’s consciousness is that person’s own responsibility. We have free will and choice. For the Divine to work in and through a person, that person must use their own free will and choice to direct their own consciousness (through intention and attention) to the Divine and Its expression.

During the time you spend each day on this Journey, you are choosing and inviting the Divine into expression. For this, I offer my deepest gratitude to you.

Guiding Thought

I choose only to create with Perfect Love. Since Perfect Love is all I AM, and all there is, I accept Perfect Love as the only Source for all my creations. I project Perfect Love outward, shining with inner radiance.

Reflection / Contemplation

Perfect Love is the Source of all creation. In the land of humanity, the experience and expression of the Divine varies. Not because we have each gotten different access to It, or have behaved according to programs written to justify that allotment. We are made of Perfect Love. A Truth that for some is an acceptable idea, one worth opening to. Yet for others, it is just a bit too much. Walking as a spirit having a human experience in a dualistic world reveals contrary experiences and information. Perfect Love is alive within us. It is the Source from which we come, and Is us throughout our eternal lives. We have a tendency as humans to assign human attributes to the Divine. Many of us grew up with a God who could view us like Santa Claus-that is the omnipresence. The omnipotent part has been assigned a judge, jury and executioner role. Perfect Love, God, is everywhere and everything, as us. Being an invisible force it calls us to open to another language-one that engages all of our senses and sensibilities. If we are willing to allow the idea that we are Perfect Love, we then take the next step to show up as that Love in our lives. Jesus spoke of the power where two or more are gathered and said that is where I Am. Did he mean that he the man pops up? I don’t think so. My understanding is that Jesus had reached a capacity of allowance enabling him to walk this earth as the Christ/Perfect Love presence. My thought is he gave his life to being the Love in action I refer to as the Christ presence, Perfect Love, Source. It matters not what you call it. What is of value is to consider cultivating the audacity to open up to It and live that radiance in your human life.
