Guiding Thought

We are. We are Love. We are kindness. We are filled-full. We have all we seek, for all we seek is within us. Now we can be who we know we are. We share our Self with all and hold nothing back; we give All Love. The Fullness of our Self returns to us as every form, person, situation, circumstance, and event that renews our fullness. We need not worry or think about what may be…our Self Knows and orders our lives for perfect fulfillment. All we need do is remember our Self…and smile, and breathe, and live.

Sharing

The first two sentences–We are. We are Love.–set up set up a very subtle premise. Can you see it?

Descartes said, “I think therefore I am”. In other words, “because I can be aware of the fact that I am thinking proves my existence”.

The first sentence above, We are, removes thinking, and asks for a tautological leap of faith. In Descartes terms, the premise I refer to above is: I am therefore I am.  Existence does not need an act of thinking to be validated or verified.

If I am, or if We are, what then?

We are Love. The fact of existence, validates and verifies the terms of that very existence, Love.

To exist = to be Love.

What’s more than that, being Love also means We are kindness. We are filled-full.

What is being kind and filled full? Having everything we seek.

And because we have everything we seek we can now be who we know we are, which is Love.

Love fulfills Itself.

How?

We share our Self with all and hold nothing back; we give All Love.

When we do this, the Fullness of our Self returns to us as every form, person, situation, circumstance, and event that renews our fullness.

We all must participate in the circulation of Love through sharing. Our very existence requires that we give and receive the essence of that existence in order to be who we are, as we are.

What happens when we do?

We need not worry or think about what may be…our Self Knows and orders our lives for perfect fulfillment. And this means that our Self is ordering your life, my life, all our lives for the perfect fulfillment of us…which is Love.

We have a ways to go, but I can see it; it’s within our reach–everyone cooperating with Love as themselves, fulfilling All. That’s why it’s important to Remember your Self…and smile, and breathe, and live.

Love be you, dear ones.

Guiding Thought

Love is unconditional. I choose to be unconditionally devoted to the love which is unconditionally devoted to me. I embrace life in love as my True nature. Connected with All in Love, I stand boldly in my heart-center, unwavering in my dedication to Unity of Life in Love.

Why am I here? Why am I doing this? I know why. But sometimes the forest gets lost for the trees: the mundane exercises of life become the point of focus and I can lose the bigger picture. Especially when the bigger picture is something incremental over a long period of time and life’s calisthenics keep me hustling.

The big picture is the slow-growth to enlightenment (or transcendence). The plodding process of becoming light, knowing Oneness, being of conscious service to All, in All, for All. That’s a mighty big picture.

This is my plan (the Journeys). That is my goal (transcendence). Am I crazy? Maybe. I know that not too many people make an actual plan to become enlightened, however, there are so many teachings that say not only is it possible, but also that it’s possible now, in this lifetime. So, why not go for it? Other people have done it. This is what Buddha taught; this is what Christ taught.

With Buddha Dharma, there is a path, a way; it is laid out clearly in teachings. There are people who have come before and done it. They figured it out and now other people learn from their examples. Those people have become a model for achieving transcendence. Why don’t more people do it? Why aren’t more people walking around saying, “Enlightenment in this lifetime! That’s what I’m talking about!” That’s a mystery to me. Why aren’t more people trying to figure it out? Sure people are meditating more, becoming healthier, but it seems like it’s about stress-relief, or relaxation, or living longer, not about becoming enlightened. Why not?

Sure, we can do what Buddha did, do what Christ did (on the other hand…who wants to be crucified?), but we are not them—each of us is unique with our own set of distractions, our own lessons, our own learning, and our own gifts. We can do what Christ or Buddha did, but that will only get us so far—we must figure out enlightenment for ourselves, for our own unique set of circumstances. Their lessons were for them—which they used to figure it out. We can follow their paths, but everyone must add their unique seasoning; keep the principles, but adapt them to your understanding, your expression. Find your own path of Love, to Love.

Maybe this sounds crazy. I’m ok with that; of course, I haven’t been challenged too much about it. Who knows, I might buckle under pressure.

What I do know—or at least feel—is there is no reason not to try. There’s no reason I shouldn’t think, “This is the lifetime I do it. This is the lifetime I become enlightened. This is the lifetime I transcend.” Thoughts like this give me a higher purpose. I am happy when I am working to fulfill my goals of enlightenment. I am happy to have enlightenment as the context for my life; somehow things just make more sense. I feel good putting my time, energy, and thoughts into this higher purpose. Do I think other people would benefit having a higher purpose like this? Absolutely. Do I think I have the answers? Maybe I have some; I do not have others. However, I am happy to share anything that might help someone else.

Why all this? For the simple reason that, “Love is unconditional. I choose to be unconditionally devoted to the love which is unconditionally devoted to me.” This is my remembering. This is my purpose, my path, my devotion. I am in it. All in. Unconditionally in it.

“I embrace life in love as my True nature. Connected with All in Love, I stand boldly in my heart-center, unwavering in my dedication to Unity of Life in Love.” I am going boldly forward (yes, yes, I do happen to be a Star Trek fan), and I am dedicating everything to my purpose and my plan. This is not for the weak-hearted…this is no-holds barred. We have what it takes; let’s do it! Enlightenment in this lifetime! That’s what I’m talking about!
